All character strings intended for encoding natural language are in Unicode. When transferring data, it is always encoded in UTF-8. Binary data is handled as 8-bit binary data.
When transmitted via JSON, it is encoded as JSON strings that contain a hex-encoded sequence of binary data.
All dates and times are represented in UTC. The conversion to times in the user’s time zone (e.g., for display) is based on the default setting for the customer which is under the responsibility of the client.
When date and time objects are transferred, they are encoded as strings in ISO8601 format (combined extended date and time format), such as 2011-12-21T07:50:00Z (see http://en. wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601).
